Roy Hodgson is reportedly close to completing his first signing as Crystal Palace manager after agreeing terms on a £3.5m deal for Getafe goalkeeper Vicente Guaita.
The Eagles are looking to strengthen at both ends of the field during the January transfer window and have already been linked with numerous keepers.
According to the Daily Mail, Hodgson has completed his search for a new potential number one by turning to Guaita, who is expected to join in the coming days.
Guaita boasts Champions League experience from his time at Valencia, where he played close to 100 games before moving to Getafe in 2014.
Wayne Hennessey and Julian Speroni have shared the gloves for Palace since Hodgson took over at Selhurst Park in September, starting 12 and 11 Premier League games respectively this term.
