Aston Villa head coach Unai Emery is hopeful that Morgan Rogers will be available for Tuesday's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.
The 22-year-old has been in outstanding form for Villa during the 2024-25 campaign, scoring 11 goals and registering six assists in 36 appearances in all competitions, but he was forced off with a knock in the latter stages of Saturday's 2-1 win over Chelsea.
Rogers's issue is not thought to be serious, though, and Emery is hopeful that the Englishman will be fit for the clash at Selhurst Park.
Ross Barkley, Pau Torres, Boubacar Kamara, Amadou Onana and Tyrone Mings are unavailable for selection, but Axel Disasi will be back in the squad after missing out against his parent club last time out.
Marcus Rashford is expected to start down the left after his two assists off the bench in the team's last match, with the on-loan Manchester United attacker making a positive impression since his arrival.
Marco Asensio hit a brace from the number 10 position against Chelsea and will again feature in the final third of the field, with Ollie Watkins, who has two goals in his last three Premier League appearances, leading the line for the top-four hopefuls.
Youri Tielemans is set to feature alongside John McGinn in the middle of the midfield, while Ian Maatsen could again be given the nod at left-back despite the availability of Lucas Digne.
Aston Villa possible starting lineup: Martinez; Cash, Konsa, Disasi, Maatsen; McGinn, Tielemans; Rogers, Asensio, Rashford; Watkins
