Juventus are reportedly prepared to sell Arsenal-linked Dusan Vlahovic for €40m (£33m) in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners made an effort to strengthen their forward ranks with a bid for Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins in the winter transfer market.
However, Arsenal saw their offer knocked back by Villa, leaving them light on forward options for the remainder of the season.
Mikel Arteta has seen his lack of strength in depth highlighted by injuries to Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus, who are set to miss the rest of the campaign with hamstring and knee injuries respectively.
As a result, Arteta is having to come up with innovative ways to solve his forward crisis, including using Mikel Merino as a makeshift striker to great effect in a match-winning substitute appearance against Leicester City.

Arsenal receive Vlahovic boost
However, using a makeshift striker is only seen as a short-term solution, with Arsenal keen to add more firepower to their squad ahead of the 2025-26 season.
The Gunners have been linked with a number of potential targets, including Juventus' Vlahovic, who has been of interest since his time as a Fiorentina player.
According to Caught Offside, Juventus are willing to sell Vlahovic for a cut-price fee, handing a boost to Arsenal's hopes of securing his signature.
The report claims that the Italian giants are ready to part ways with the Serbia international for a 'fair' £40m fee.
While Arsenal may be enticed by Juventus' asking price, they could face competition from other potential suitors, including Premier League rivals Manchester United.

Why are Juventus willing to accept cut-price fee?
Vlahovic's contract situation is likely a factor behind Juventus' valuation, with his deal set to expire at the end of the 2025-26 season.
As a result, Juventus will want to obtain a fee for his services rather than risk him leaving on a free transfer in the summer of 2026.
The Old Lady also seem keen to make Randal Kolo Muani their first-choice forward after signing him on loan in the winter transfer window.
He has made a positive start to his Juventus career, having netted five goals in four Serie A appearances.
If Juventus sign Kolo Muani on a permanent deal, Vlahovic will struggle to gain regular playing time as a starter at the Allianz Stadium.
