Midfield duo Marcus Bean, Dominic Vose expected to leave Colchester United

Colchester United boss Tony Humes expects midfield duo Marcus Bean and Dominic Vose to leave the club.

Colchester United boss Tony Humes has revealed that midfielders Marcus Bean and Dominic Vose are likely to leave the club.

The pair have not featured for the League One side in nearly two months.

While there has been no interest in either 30-year-old Bean or 20-year-old Vose, Humes expects the duo to depart the U's in the near future.

"We've had the discussions and if there's an opportunity for them to move on, they will do so," he told BBC Sport. "They need that opportunity to get their careers going."

Bean joined Colchester from Brentford in 2012, while Vose arrived at the club from Barnet last year.
