Wigan Athletic line up Patrick Bamford loan from Chelsea?

Wigan Athletic will reportedly bring in Chelsea youngster Patrick Bamford on loan in January.

Wigan Athletic will reportedly attempt to bring in Chelsea youngster Patrick Bamford on loan in January.

The 20-year-old is currently on loan at MK Dons in League One until the New Year, but Chelsea want to move him up a division into the Championship, according to SportsDirect News.

Bamford has scored 12 goals in 19 League One appearances for the Dons and won October's Player of the Month award.

The deal is said to have been put into motion by previous Wigan manager Owen Coyle and it will now be up to new boss Uwe Rosler to sanction it.
