Villa step up Josh McEachran interest

Aston Villa are believed to have continued their pursuit of Chelsea midfielder Josh McEachran.

The teenager has been informed by the former Premier League champions that he can go on loan, which has prompted an approach from the Midlands club, according to the Daily Mail.

While Villa boss Alex McLeish is thought to be keen on the 18-year-old, reports have suggested that McEachran is open to a loan switch to Swansea City.

Bolton Wanderers are also believed to have expressed desire in signing the teen on a temporary basis.
