Marco van Ginkel rejects AC Milan approach?

A report in Italy says that Chelsea midfielder Marco van Ginkel has turned down an offer to join AC Milan on loan.

Chelsea midfielder Marco van Ginkel has reportedly rejected the chance to join AC Milan on loan.

The Italian club's vice president Adriano Galliani recently confessed that the Dutchman was a major target of Milan, as well as his teammate Fernando Torres.

However, despite speculation that Chelsea were open to the prospect of loaning out the 21-year-old, he has decided to fight for his place at Stamford Bridge, according to Sky Sport Italia.

Van Ginkel signed for Chelsea last summer, but a knee injury limited him to just four appearances in all competitions last season.
