AC Milan's vice-president Adriano Galliani has confirmed that the club are exploring the possibility of signing Chelsea duo Fernando Torres and Marco van Ginkel.
Jose Mourinho recently declared his intention to keep Torres at Stamford Bridge, despite leaving him out of the squad for Saturday's victory over Leicester City.
Van Ginkel's potential departure seems far more likely, and Galliani has revealed that Milan have already submitted an offer for the Dutch midfielder.
"Our goal is to take a great striker," Galliani told Milan Channel. "Fernando Torres? He is a great striker. Let's see if he comes or someone else. We are actively working.
"Van Ginkel? We are confident. We have made our proposal to Chelsea and are now waiting on an answer. We hope we can get him."
Milan are searching for a striker following the sale of Mario Balotelli to Liverpool.
