Report: Leipzig join race for Hudson-Odoi

Chelsea forward Callum Hudson-Odoi, restricted to six appearances under Maurizio Sarri this season, is linked with a move to Bundesliga side RB Leipzig.

RB Leipzig reportedly intend to rival fellow Bundesliga side Bayern Munich for the signing of Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi.

The teenage forward is attracting interest from abroad after failing to break into the Blues' starting lineup under Maurizio Sarri.

Hudson-Odoi was one of the stars of Chelsea's pre-season campaign, but he has made just six appearances in competitive fixtures, only one of which has come in the Premier League.

Bayern are rumoured to have made an opening offer of £13m for the England Under-19s international, but Kicker suggests that they now face competition from Leipzig.

The Bulls are looking to strengthen out wide and supposedly see Hudson-Odoi as a smart purchase due to his potential and his small price tag.

However, a separate report over the weekend suggests that Chelsea will now only consider cashing in if a bid of £22.5m is made, which may put Leipzig off.
