Arsenal reportedly learn how much it will take to sign Kingsley Coman from German giants Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.

Arsenal have reportedly learned that it will take a bid in the region of €35m (£30m) to €40m (£34m) to sign Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman this summer.

The Gunners could look to strengthen their wide options ahead of the 2025-26 campaign, especially as one or two attackers could depart at the end of the season.

Arsenal are unlikely to pursue a permanent move for Raheem Sterling, who is set to return to Chelsea at the end of his loan spell.

There is also uncertainty surrounding Leandro Trossard's future, with the Belgian close to entering the final 12 months of his contract.

Arsenal appear to be considering Coman as a potential option to add depth to Mikel Arteta's attacking ranks, which also include Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri.

Arsenal learn Coman asking price

According to journalist Florian Plettenburg, Arsenal have already made contact with Coman's representatives over a potential move this summer.

Bayern are ready to sanction Coman's departure, with the German club looking to receive somewhere between €35m (£30m) to €40m (£34m) if they sell to a Premier League club.

The Frenchman would earn around €16m (£14m) to £17m (£15m) gross salary if he decides to swap the Bundesliga for the English top flight.

However, the Gunners may have to fend off competition from the Saudi Pro League if they are to secure Coman's signature.

Bayern to demand more for Saudi Pro League move

Coman is said to be a potential target for the four biggest clubs in Saudi Arabia, although they may have to pay more than Arsenal to get a deal over the line.

Bayern are seemingly prepared to take into the Saudi Pro League's greater financial resources in negotiations over a possible transfer for Coman.

Clubs in Saudi Arabia may have to pay around €50m (£43m) to add Coman to the collection of high-profile names already playing in the Saudi Pro League.

The France international could earn around €25m (£22m) net per year if he opted to join the Saudi Pro League instead of the English top flight.
