Report: Chelsea make Ezequiel Lavezzi enquiry

Chelsea make an enquiry about signing Ezequiel Lavezzi, according to a report.

Chelsea have reportedly made an enquiry about signing Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi.

According to The Telegraph, the Blues are interested in bringing the Argentina international to Stamford Bridge and asked about his availability during their negotiations to sell David Luiz.

The two clubs were able to reach an agreement that will see Luiz move to the French champions for £48m.

The report goes on to say that, while Jose Mourinho is confident of completing the signing of Atletico Madrid forward Diego Costa, he is keen on adding another proven striker to his squad.

Lavezzi scored 12 goals for PSG last season to help the club win the Ligue 1 title.
