A report claims that Hoffenheim will not sell German centre-back Niklas Sule to Chelsea in the January transfer window.

Hoffenheim are reportedly not prepared to sell Niklas Sule to Chelsea in the January transfer window.

Chelsea were strongly linked with a move for the 21-year-old in the summer, but it is understood that the two clubs could not agree a price for the highly-rated German international.

Last month, it was claimed that the Blues would return with a bid for the centre-back at the start of 2017, but according to Sky Sports News, Hoffenheim will not do business in the middle of the campaign.

Chelsea have also been linked with a move for Burnley centre-back Michael Keane as Antonio Conte prepares to sign a new defender to boost his team's title challenge.
