Jose Mourinho unsure over future of Didier Drogba

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has admitted that he will not be responsible for making a decision regarding Didier Drogba's future at the club.

Drogba re-joined the club on a one-year deal last summer, but there has been no news about a possible extension to that contract and Mourinho has suggested that owner Roman Abramovich will have the final say.

"I didn't speak with [Abramovich]," the Chelsea boss told reporters. "I think it belongs to him - what he feels, what he thinks.

"This is a club thing. This is a Mr Abramovich thing. Mr Abramovich wants him to do what he wants in the club, but it's something Mr Abramovich has to tell him.

"He has to decide. But, obviously, he belongs to the history of this club. These guys are special players."

Chelsea are looking to move a step closer to the Premier League title when they meet Leicester City on Wednesday night.
