Luke Shaw odds-on to join Chelsea

Two UK bookmakers make Chelsea odds-on to sign Southampton left-back Luke Shaw during the current transfer window.

Two UK bookmakers have made Chelsea odds-on to sign Southampton left-back Luke Shaw during the current transfer window.

SkyBET and BetVictor have slashed their prices on the 18-year-old being a Blues player on February 1 to 8-13 and 2-5 respectively.

Manchester City are reportedly willing to pay £30m to make Shaw the most expensive full-back ever, but BetVictor are so confident that the player is not heading to the Etihad Stadium that they are offering 25-1 on such a move happening this month.

Shaw, who has been capped three times by England at Under-21 level, is contracted to the Saints until June 2018.
