Leicester City make approach for Chelsea's Nathan Ake and Oriol Romeu?

Leicester City want to sign Chelsea pair Nathan Ake and Oriol Romeu, according to a report.

Leicester City have reportedly made an approach for Chelsea pair Nathan Ake and Oriol Romeu.

Ake, who can play at left-back or in defensive midfield, is said to be unhappy with his lack of first-team opportunities at Stamford Bridge.

Defensive midfielder Romeu has also struggled to hold down a regular place with the Blues, having spent the last two campaigns out on loan.

A report over the weekend stated that Leicester are interested in signing the Spaniard, who was loaned out to Stuttgart last term.

According to the Leicester Mercury, the Foxes have also approached the Premier League champions for Ake and are keen to nab at least one of the youngsters on loan.

Ake and Romeu joined Chelsea four years ago from Feyenoord and Barcelona respectively.
