Leicester City have reportedly thrown their hat into the ring for out-of-favour Chelsea striker Loic Remy.
The 29-year-old, who moved to the Blues from Queens Park Rangers in 2014, has featured just three times as a substitute since Guus Hiddink took over from Jose Mourinho last month.
The Premier League leaders have lethal duo Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez up front but are on the hunt for alternative goalscoring options following the loan exit of Andrej Kramaric to Hoffenheim.
According to The Mirror, the Foxes will make a bid of £7.2m to lure the Frenchman to the King Power this month in a permanent deal.
Newcastle United, Swansea City and troubled Aston Villa have also lodged bids but are only interested in a loan deal.
