AC Milan have reportedly told Chelsea they will have to pay £88m to secure the services of Rafael Leao.
Leao, 23, opened the scoring at the weekend in Milan's 2-1 win over Fiorentina, making it seven goals and nine assists in 20 appearances this season.
The Portuguese international has attracted interest from some of Europe's top clubs in recent times, including Chelsea who are monitoring his ongoing contract situation with the reigning Serie A champions.
According to Calciomercato, Milan are struggling to negotiate a new deal for the winger and the club have failed to reach an agreement before the start of the World Cup.
Given the rumours of a potential move, the report also adds that the club will not accept any offers less than €100m (£88m) for the former Lille player in the January transfer window.
Leao has been included in Fernando Santos's Portugal squad for the World Cup in Qatar, as he looks to add to the 11 caps he has already earned for his country.
