Steaua Bucuresti winger Florinel Coman has emerged as a transfer target for Chelsea, according to reports.
The 19-year-old, who predominantly plays on the left wing but is equally adept across the frontline, has been capped five times by Romania's Under-21 side.
Coman was given his first chance when he was promoted from Vitorul Constanta's academy by legendary countryman Gheorghe Hagi in 2015 and was duly snapped up by Steaua in August.
According to the Daily Mail, Blues technical director Michael Emenalo flew to Romania last week to watch Coman in Steaua's 1-0 win over city rivals Dinamo Bucharest.
The report also claims that Steaua owner Gigi Becali has inserted an £88m release clause in Coman's contract as the club regard him to be at the same level as Kylian Mbappe.
Benfica were believed to be in the running for Coman, but were pipped to the post by Steaua over the summer.
