Chelsea in talks with Atletico Madrid over Toby Alderweireld, Filipe Luis swap?

Chelsea are reportedly in talks with Atletico Madrid regarding a swap deal involving Toby Alderweireld and Filipe Luis.

Chelsea are reportedly trying to convince Atletico Madrid to part with Toby Alderweireld by offering Filipe Luis as part of the deal.

Alderweireld recently admitted that he wants to stay in the Premier League following his loan spell at Southampton in the 2014-15 season.

While there have been suggestions that the Saints will try to make the move permanent, the Daily Star reports that Chelsea want the 26-year-old defender and will allow Luis to return to the Vicente Calderon in exchange.

Luis signed for Chelsea last year following a four-year spell at Atletico, but the left-back struggled to claim a regular spot in Jose Mourinho's side during his debut season.
