Chelsea have reportedly moved a step closer to signing Edin Dzeko from Roma during the January transfer window.
The Blues are keen to bring in a new striker before the end of the month and after being linked with a wide array of players, it appears that the Premier League side have focused their attentions on Dzeko.
The Bosnian's agent has previously insisted that the forward would prefer to remain at the Stadio Olimpico, but it appears that the former Manchester City man is nearer to a return to England.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Chelsea have reached an agreement with Roma over the potential sale of their frontman, who must now decide where to continue his career.
Defender Emerson Palmieri is also expected to make the switch to West London during the closing week of the window.
