Roma have allegedly shortlisted Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge as the man they want to replace Edin Dzeko, should the Bosnian leave for Chelsea.
Former Manchester City forward Dzeko has been linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge this month, as Blues boss Antonio Conte looks to add to his attacking options for the remainder of the season.
According to the Daily Star, Roma will move for out-of-favour Sturridge should their current striker leave the club.
Sturridge, who has also been linked with a move to Inter, has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield, with Reds boss Jurgen Klopp restricting the 28-year-old to substitute appearances.
The England international's last Premier League start for his current employers came in a 1-1 draw with Chelsea in November.
