Barcelona have launched an improved £55m bid for Chelsea forward Willian after falling short with their first two offers, according to a report.
The Spanish champions are refusing to give up on the Brazil international, who is currently enjoying a post-World Cup break.
Sky Sports News claims that, having been knocked back with their previous approaches, Barca have now tabled a sum that they hope the Blues will accept.
Chelsea are said to be open to the idea of selling Willian as he turns 30 in the next fortnight, but they will only cash in if their valuation is met in full.
Willian scored 13 goals and assisted nine more for Chelsea last season, despite being frustrated by what he perceived to be a lack of playing time.
