Barcelona are reportedly desperate to sign Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic this summer.
The 30-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Camp Nou in recent weeks, but the Spanish champions will allegedly have to agree swap deals rather than straight cash moves ahead of the 2020-21 campaign due to the financial impact of the coronavirus outbreak.
A recent report claimed that Pjanic is heading for Barca as part of a swap deal for Nelson Semedo, although it is thought that deal could now be off the table.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Quique Setien's side want to sign the Bosnia-Herzegovina international 'no matter what' and are prepared to press ahead with a cash-only move.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Pjanic 'dreams' of representing the Spanish champions and is desperate to complete a move to Camp Nou in the near future.
The central midfielder, who has also been linked with Chelsea, has scored three times and contributed four assists in 32 appearances for the Old Lady this season.
