The hosts took the lead midway through the first half when Chris Wondolowski latched onto his own rebound to slot past Ross Turnbull.
The Blues drew level before half-time through John Terry, who headed home from a corner.
Frank Lampard put Chelsea in front just before the hour-mark when he met Kevin de Bruyne's cross at the back post with a half-volley.
Chris Pontius grabbed the equaliser for the All-Stars in the 73rd minute, before Eddie Johnson's deflected shot secured victory in stoppage time.
