Saturday's Premier League predictions including Sheffield United vs. Chelsea

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's Premier League action, including Sheffield United vs. Chelsea and Liverpool vs. Burnley.

Norwich vs. West Ham (Saturday, 12.30pm)

West Ham United will be looking to boost their Premier League survival hopes and all but relegate Norwich City in the process in Saturday lunchtime's clash at Carrow Road.

The Hammers are four points above the relegation zone following a mixed run of form, while Norwich are 10 points from safety with four games to play.

We say: Norwich City 0-1 West Ham United

Norwich have lost all six matches in all competitions since football returned last month, losing those games by an aggregate 13-2 scoreline. West Ham can take another step towards survival with victory against the doomed Canaries, and we are tipping them to edge this weekend's clash in Norfolk.

Watford vs. Newcastle (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Buoyed by a much-needed win last time out, Watford will be looking to climb clear of the Premier League relegation zone when they host Newcastle United on Saturday lunchtime.

The Hornets beat bottom side Norwich City in midweek and are four points above the drop, while Newcastle - thrashed 5-0 by Manchester City - are jostling for position in mid-table.

We say: Watford 1-0 Newcastle United

This is the easiest of Watford's remaining fixtures and they could really do with picking up another victory. Newcastle will not be as bad as they were on Wednesday, and Bruce will have more players to choose from, but we can see the hosts grinding out a precious win.

Liverpool vs. Burnley (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Premier League champions Liverpool could set more records tumbling when they welcome Burnley to Anfield on Saturday afternoon.

Jurgen Klopp's men are three wins away from setting a new points record but face a Burnley side who are still chasing European qualification for next season.

We say: Liverpool 2-0 Burnley

This match pits the two teams with most clean sheets this season against each other, but even taking Burnley's fine form into account it is difficult to look past Liverpool's imperious home record.

Burnley have not won at Anfield since 1974 and were well beaten in the reverse fixture this season, so we can see Liverpool edging another step closer to Premier League immortality with win number 31 of the campaign.

Sheff Utd vs. Chelsea (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Chelsea travel to Bramall Lane to face Sheffield United knowing that a sixth win in seven Premier League games will edge them a step closer to qualification for the Champions League.

However, the Blades welcome the Blues to Yorkshire having put together a three-match unbeaten streak, leaving the club just one point adrift of sixth-placed Wolverhampton Wanderers.

We say: Sheffield United 2-2 Chelsea

Given Chelsea's performances at both ends of the pitch, we can only expect plenty of goals in this contest. All things considered, a draw appears to be the most likely result, with the home side coming on strong during the closing stages.

Brighton vs. Man City (Saturday, 8.00pm)

Brighton & Hove Albion go into the second leg of English football's most difficult double-header when they welcome Manchester City to the Amex Stadium on Saturday.

The Seagulls were beaten at home by champions Liverpool on Wednesday night and now take on a Man City side looking to halt a poor run of away form.

We say: Brighton 1-3 Man City

Brighton looked dangerous against Liverpool and should have scored more than the one goal they managed, so we are backing them to get on the scoresheet again here.

However, we are also backing the same result from that match; Man City have won all five Premier League meetings between these two sides and should have enough to end their poor away form here.
