Andre Villas-Boas: 'Club management suits me best'

Andre Villas-Boas admits that he has no ambition to coach at international level anytime soon.

Andre Villas-Boas has admitted that he has no ambition to coach at international level any time soon.

The former Chelsea manager, who has been out of work since being dismissed by the Blues in March, claims that he is better suited to club management.

"I am more attracted by the work at a club and the daily training sessions," he told Uefa.com. "It is not part of my ambitions to coach a national team, but it could happen someday.

"With preparation and the right project, something special could be done. But right now, it is not part of my plans for the future."

Villas-Boas recently turned down the opportunity to take over at Brazilian club Sao Paulo, and has been strongly linked with the vacant position at Tottenham Hotspur.
