John Terry has revealed his delight at being able to focus on Chelsea's pre-season preparations.
The England international has recently been cleared of racial abuse towards Queens Park Rangers defender Anton Ferdinand and admits that it is a relief to get back to football.
Terry said: "I'm delighted to get back to football, concentrate on what I love doing. I'm very pleased to be here with the side and concentrating on getting fit first and foremost – and cracking away early on in the season.
"We have got some big games coming up and I'm looking forward to being part of that."
Terry scored during Chelsea's 3-2 loss against the MLS All-Stars on Thursday morning in Pennsylvania.
