Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho reportedly hints to Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich that he wants his job back at Stamford Bridge.

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly been sending regular text messages to Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich in a bid to return to Stamford Bridge.

The self-proclaimed 'Special One' has been linked with an exit from the Bernabeu at the end of the season due to conflict with the club's board and a number of first-team players.

It is understood that the Portuguese coach has been "dropping hints" to Abramovich and staff at the West London club that he wants his job back at the Premier League outfit, according to The Express.

Mourinho left the Blues, who are now being managed by interim boss Rafael Benitez, in 2007 after falling out with the Russian billionaire.
