Nemanja Matic excited by London derby

Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic reveals that he is looking forward to tonight's derby against West Ham in the Premier League.

Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic has revealed that he is excited by the thought of tonight's derby against West Ham United in the Premier League.

The Blues, who have won their last five games in the top flight, welcome their London rivals to Stamford Bridge.

Despite expecting West Ham to provide tough opposition, Matic is looking forward to the atmosphere inside the stadium.

"I like playing in derbies," he told the club's official website. "For me, playing against a local rival is a big motivation to win and I'm really looking forward to the game.

"The Premier League is very fast and has some of the best players in the world so you have to be focused and concentrate for 90 minutes if you are to be successful."

Chelsea earned a comfortable 3-0 win when the teams met at Upton Park in November.
