Romelu Lukaku promises to be "deadly" for Chelsea next season by working hard in pre-season.

Romelu Lukaku has revealed that he is determined to be "deadly" like the "great masters" of football when he return to Chelsea for pre-season.

The 20-year-old is expected to be given a chance at Stamford Bridge under new manager Jose Mourinho following his loan stint at West Bromwich Albion last season.

Lukaku wrote on Instagram: "I will train every single part of my body to be twice as good as last year. Stronger, faster, bring more quality into my game just to be as deadly as the great masters of the game.

"It will be hard but when you work hard you play hard. Season 13-14 is the season when I stop playing like a boy and will play as a MAN!! #ambition."

Lukaku scored 17 goals in the Premier League during the 2012-13 campaign.
