Chelsea technical director Michael Emenalo has described new signing N'Golo Kante as the "perfect fit" for Antonio Conte's philosophy.
The 25-year-old midfielder finalised a switch to Stamford Bridge from Leicester City this afternoon, costing a reported £32m fee.
Kante was a key figure in the Foxes' historic Premier League title-winning campaign last season, playing in all but one of the team's top-flight matches.
"N'Golo is a fantastic signing ahead of the new season and we are delighted to have been able to bring such a talented player to the club," Emanelo told the club's official website. "He is a perfect fit in terms of Antonio Conte's philosophies and the style of football he wants to play.
"For a player of his age he has already built up a wealth of experience and his exceptional quality will without doubt be a great addition to the team."
Kante has put pen to paper on a five-year contract.
