Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard has revealed that he wants to play in the number 10 position for his club.
The Belgium attacker fired Chelsea to the Premier League title in the 2014-15 campaign, netting 14 goals in 38 appearances during an impressive campaign.
The 25-year-old only managed four goals in 31 league appearances last season, however, and has also made an inconsistent start to the 2016-17 campaign despite netting twice in seven top-flight matches.
Hazard primarily operates on the left-hand side of Chelsea's attack, but the Belgian wants to be given the chance to play in the hole behind the centre-forward.
"I like to play as a number 10," the Daily Mail quotes Hazard as saying. "Sometimes at Chelsea we don't play a system with a number 10, though. I don't know if I will play there at Chelsea. You need to ask the manager!
"I play on the left-hand side and I try to do the best I can. I don't think Chelsea want to change just for me, just so I can play as a 10."
Hazard scored twice for Belgium during the recent international break.
