Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard has said that he is pleased to have been named the PFA Young Player of the Year.
The 23-year-old has scored 14 league goals for the Blues this season and beat out competition from the likes of Daniel Sturridge and Luke Shaw.
"It's always good to win awards because it means you've had a good season, but I prefer to win things collectively and I must say thank you to all my Chelsea teammates, the staff and the fans," said Hazard after receiving the award.
Hazard, who joined Chelsea in June 2012 from Lille, was also named in the PFA Team of the Year.
