Chelsea duo Gary Cahill and Ashley Cole are reportedly expected to return to action from their respective injuries against Liverpool on Sunday.

Chelsea defenders Ashley Cole and Gary Cahill could reportedly return to the Blues squad in time for their Premier League clash against Liverpool this Sunday.

Cahill has been out of action for around a month due to surgery on a knee problem, while Cole sustained a hamstring injury during Chelsea's 1-0 win over Manchester United in their FA Cup quarter-final replay on April 1.

While the duo are not expected to be fit for tomorrow evening's clash against Fulham, the pair could be added to interim manager Rafael Benitez's squad at Anfield, according to the London Evening Standard.

The Blues are currently in fourth place ahead of Tottenham Hotspur in the table on goal difference alone.
