Chelsea attracting interest from American business magnate Paul Allen?

American business magnate Paul Allen reportedly shows an interest in buying out Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.

American business magnate Paul Allen has reportedly shown an interest in buying Chelsea.

Allen is the owner of Portland Trail Blazers and Seattle Seahawks, and it appears that the 65-year-old is assessing whether to launch a bid for the Premier League giants.

According to Euro United, Allen has held discussions with Pini Zahavi regarding the possibility of buying out Roman Abramovich.

Chelsea have not officially said that the club is up for sale, but it has been widely reported that Abramovich is willing to consider offers in the region of £3bn.

Abramovich has had issues with obtaining a new visa for the United Kingdom, leading to the Russian potentially being open to selling the West London outfit for the right price.

Allen is also part-owner of MLS club Seattle Sounders.
