Jose Bosingwa is confident that Andre Villas-Boas can do the "right job" for Chelsea despite the Blues' current poor form.

Chelsea full-back Jose Bosingwa thinks that Andre Villas-Boas is the "right" man to turn the Blues' season around after a run of disappointing results.

The 34-year-old boss has come under pressure after suffering defeats in the side's last two games against Liverpool and Champions League group opponents Bayer Leverkusen.

"Everyone was down after the defeat in Leverkusen, because no-one expected it and we need to change the direction of our season," Sky Sports News quotes Bosingwa as saying. "The dressing room has been affected by the defeats and now we have to relaunch our season.

"Andre Villas-Boas is a big coach. Nobody doubts him [or] that he can do the right job for Chelsea. But we are conceding late goals, dropping points, and it's impossible to fight for big titles if we keep doing that."

The Blues will try to revive their Premier League campaign with a fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend.
