Chelsea's interim manager Rafael Benitez admits that he cannot change the view of fans who want him to leave the club.

Chelsea interim manager Rafael Benitez has said that he may never be able to change the opinion of fans who want him to leave the club.

Benitez took over as Blues boss in November to a large number of dissenting fans at Stamford Bridge, and the former Liverpool manager believes that some supporters will never alter their view of him.

"I cannot change the opinion of some people," The Mirror quotes Benitez as saying.

"But what I can say is the team is growing, getting better for this year and also for the future.

"I am concentrating on my job, and I finish my contract at the end of the season. I will try and do my best. That's my job."

Chelsea travel to champions Manchester City this afternoon.
