Head coach Thomas Tuchel has insisted that he has not made a decision on which Chelsea goalkeeper will start Sunday's EFL Cup final.
Kepa Arrizabalaga has featured in every game on the way to the Wembley showpiece, seemingly making him the favourite to play ahead of usual first-choice Edouard Mendy.
However, when quizzed on the matter at his pre-match press conference, Tuchel said that he had not made a final call over whether the Spaniard would remain between the sticks for the meeting with Liverpool.
Speaking to reporters, Tuchel said: "I will not tell you. We will take the decision late. In the Club World Cup, Kepa played the semi-final and was a huge part of the semi-final, brought us to the final and then we took the decision for Edou to play.
"It is a pretty similar situation now. We will take the decision after training, as always. Kepa did fantastic in the period where we had to do without Edou, so it is an uncomfortable, but comfortable, situation to be in."
Five of Arrizabalaga's 13 appearances have been in the EFL Cup, the 27-year-old keeping clean sheets in his last three outings.
