Ryan Bertrand is reportedly missing from Chelsea's Europa League squad with a virus, which paves the way for Nathan Ake at left-back.

Chelsea full-back Ryan Bertrand has reportedly not travelled with his teammates to Moscow for tomorrow's Europa League quarter-final second leg against Rubin Kazan.

The Blues head into the clash with a 3-1 lead, but the Russian outfit need just two goals without conceding to knock Chelsea out of the tournament.

Bertrand will be unable to help the Blues' case as he has remained in London due to a virus, while Ashley Cole is still missing with a hamstring strain, according to BBC Radio Five Live.

Reports have claimed that youngster Nathan Ake will fill in at left-back.
