Eden Hazard misses Chelsea training

Eden Hazard misses training for Chelsea ahead of Tuesday's Champions League semi-final first leg against Atletico Madrid.

Eden Hazard has missed first-team training for Chelsea ahead of Tuesday's Champions League semi-final first leg against Atletico Madrid at the Vicente Calderon.

The Belgian, who has scored 17 times in all competitions this season, has not featured for the Premier League outfit since injuring his calf on April 8.

It had been thought that the former Lille attacker would return for the clash in Madrid, but he was not present for training on Monday morning.

First-choice goalkeeper Petr Cech, however, is expected to start after missing the 2-1 defeat to Sunderland at the weekend with a virus.
