Sports Mole previews the Championship encounter between Blackpool and Charlton Athletic.

Charlton Athletic and Blackpool go into this weekend's Championship showdown with just one point separating them in 14th and 15th in the league.

The visitors could well be managerless by the time this fixture comes around, with Michael Appleton currently locked in talks with Blackburn Rovers.

The Tangerines are likely to name an unchanged side from the 1-1 draw with a full-strength Fulham in the FA Cup last weekend.

Charlton ended a winless streak of six matches in their last league outing, edging a 4-3 thriller away at Watford, but have since crashed out of the FA Cup.

Manager Chris Powell also has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the game with long-term absentee Rhoys Wiggins now back in training.

Recent form

Charlton: LLLDWL

Sports Mole says: 2-2
