Celtic have confirmed that Aidan Nesbitt has signed a new contract with the club.
The 18-year-old midfielder, who made his senior debut recently against Ross County in the Scottish League Cup, has agreed to terms that have tied him to Parkhead until the summer of 2019.
"This takes me to 2019, so it gives me plenty of time to keep developing and getting better and hopefully becoming a good first-team player here," he told the club's official website.
"The manager has been telling that if I keep progressing the way I've been going, where I'll be and where I've got the potential to get to as long as I keep working hard, and that's what I'm going to do, to hopefully fulfil that potential."
Earlier this season Nesbitt scored a hat-trick for Celtic's development side in their UEFA Youth League clash against HJK Helsinki.
