Celtic manager Ronny Deila has insisted that he has no intention of selling Fraser Forster in the near future.
The England goalkeeper has been linked with a number of clubs in recent months due to his impressive form for the Scottish champions, but Deila is hopeful that the opportunity to continue playing regularly in the Champions League will be enough for Celtic to keep the 26-year-old.
When asked if Forster had indicated that he would like to leave the club, the Norwegian told reporters: "He hasn't. He has done a good job since he has come to Celtic, but Celtic have also been fantastic for him, and I hope that will continue because we need our best players and he is a fantastic keeper.
"Something will happen in the end, but if it happens now or in the winter or next summer, I don't know, we will see.
"Things are happening around my players all the time, but Fraser is an unbelievable professional and I know that he really wants to play in the Champions League."
Celtic eased into the third qualifying round of the Champions League with a 4-0 victory over KR Reykjavik in the second leg of their tie on Tuesday night.
