Premier League new boys Cardiff City have reportedly set their sights on Besiktas midfielder Tolgay Arslan as they attempt to strengthen their midfield ranks.
The Bluebirds are in desperate need of depth in the middle of the park, having relied heavily on a select few players during their promotion campaign last time out.
Neil Warnock has already made clear that he wants to bring in as many as six new players, with a couple of midfielders expected to be on his wishlist.
According to Turkish outlet Takvim, Arslan could become Cardiff's marquee summer signing, having also attracted interest from Serie A sides Roma and Inter Milan.
The report suggests that the Welsh outfit are prepared to offer £7m for the Turkey international, who made six appearances in the 2016-17 Champions League.
Besiktas could in turn move for City's longest-serving player Aron Gunnarsson once his contract officially expires later this month.
