Danny Mayor and Fred Onyedinma scored for their respective teams as the match between Bury and Wycombe Wanderers ended in a draw.
The conditions and pitch were extremely poor and it was perhaps inevitable that a goal would be scored because of it.
A Ryan Lowe shot was halted on the line but Alfie Mawson was unable to clear the ball after it got stuck in the boggy turf, allowing Mayor to slide in and poke it home.
The game sprung into life in the second half with both teams having numerous opportunities in a box-to-box match, but it was Wanderers who managed to equalise in the 68th minute.
Joe Jacobson crossed the ball into the box and on-loan striker Onyedinma muscled Adam El-Abd off the ball to lash it home.
It was the youngster's third goal in as many games for Wycombe, but it wasn't without controversy as assistant manager Chris Brass was sent to the stands after he thought El-Abd's shirt had been pulled during the build-up.
The result sees Wycombe remain at the top of League Two while Bury sit in 10th place.
