Anthony O'Connor makes Burton Albion switch

Former Plymouth Argyle defender Anthony O'Connor pens a two-year deal with Burton Albion.

Burton Albion have confirmed the signing of former Plymouth Argyle defender Anthony O'Connor on a two-year deal.

The 22-year-old had been a free agent after turning down a new contract at Plymouth last month.

O'Connor previously played for Burton while on loan at the League One club during the 2012-13 campaign.

"It feels great to be back. Obviously this is the place where I spent my first season in the Football League," he told their official website. "It was under a different manager then but I'm really excited about working under the new gaffer here."

O'Connor started his career with Blackburn Rovers before joining Plymouth last summer.
