Burnley centre-forward Sam Vokes could face a spell on the sidelines with a foot injury.
The Welsh international suffered the problem during his side's 2-1 victory over Stoke City in a friendly yesterday afternoon.
Initial fears that he had broken his metatarsal have subsided, but he will now undergo a scan to determine the exact damage.
Vokes had scored both of Burnley's goals against a Stoke side that included Michael Owen and Charlie Adam before he limped off with 60 minutes played.
