Half-Time Report: Burnley and Blackburn Rovers level at the break

Burnley and Blackburn Rovers are level at the break in today's Championship clash at Turf Moor.

It is goalless in the Lancashire derby between Burnley and Blackburn Rovers in the afternoon's early Championship match at Turf Moor.

Burnley almost took an early lead when Jake Kean hit a backpass straight into Sam Vokes, with the ball cannoning off his body and going just wide of the post.

The home side were dominating and Kean was tested twice in quick succession when Scott Arfield's low shot was pushed away to Danny Ings, whose volley was beaten out by the keeper.

Ten minutes before the break Blackburn had their best chance of the game when Tom Cairney saw his shot saved by Tom Heaton.

At the end of the half Ings nearly opened the scoring for the home side but could only strike his shot from the edge of the area just wide.
