Evening folks! Tonight's match was meant to be kicking off at 7.45pm but kickoff has been delayed by 15 minutes because of travel issues in the area.

The South Coast was one of the worst affected areas of the overnight storm St Jude, which woke me up in London at about 6.30am this morning.

Anyway, no bother! A quarter of an hour isn't going to affect us too much. Let's get to tonight's team news...

So, what to make of those XIs? Well, Brighton have made one change from the last game against Yeovil as youngster Jake Forster-Caskey for Rohan Ince. New loan signing Leroy Lita will have wanted to get a start but he only makes the subs.

Watford, meanwhile, are able to welcome back striker Troy Deeney to the starting lineup. Zola makes three other changes as Davide Faraoni returns from suspension, with Lloyd Doyley and Sean Murray being promoted from the bench.

REFEREE WATCH! The man with the whistle tonight is Keith Hill, who has given out just five yellow cards in his last two Championship matches.

Click here to see the table ahead of tonight's game. Watford go into the match just outside the top six in seventh, two adrift of Reading and Forest in fifth and sixth and 11 shy of table-toppers Burnley. Brighton are further down the table in 16th but could climb as high as ninth with a victory.

When these two last met back in December, Watford came out on top 3-1 on the South Coast thanks to a Matej Vydra brace.

Here come the two sides out of the tunnel. Brighton are in their home colours of blue-and-white stripes while Watford opt for their maroon away kit.

Cracking atmosphere inside the Amex, which regularly gets the best attendances in the division.

KICKOFF! Off we go on the South Coast.

Pudil cynically clips Buckley's heels to give Brighton a free kick to the right of the area. Good position to swing it in...

Forster-Caskey looks to play a clever low one to Crofts on the edge of the box but the latter can't make good contact.

I said I was expecting goals tonight and we have one inside the first four minutes as Sean Murray lets fly from range. The ball looked to be heading straight at Kuszczak until it looped off the head of Ward and into the near corner. A good hit from the Watford man, but you feel that Kuszczak would have saved.

Buckley has the pace to beat McGugan and he's brought down by the former Forest man who's lucky not to be cautioned.

CLOSE! McGugan loves to get forward and he's almost made it two with a bending shot from the left of the area that had Kuszczak scrambling.

Doyley is furious with referee Hill for awarding a free kick after what appeared to be a shoulder-to-shoulder with Conway. The Brighton man picks himself up and delivers from the left wing. It's not a bad delivery but there's not a single Seagull ready at the back stick.

WHAT A SAVE! Conway whips over a vicious delivery from the left that squeezes its way through to Buckley on the right. He could let it roll out for a corner but clips it to the back post where Barnes powers a header towards the top corner that Almunia keeps out with a strong hand.

Brighton continue to see plenty of the ball in the Watford half as we approach the 20-minute mark. The visitors opener certainly was fortunate but it hasn't dampened the Seagulls' spirit. As things stand, Watford will be rising three places up to fourth in the table.

CHANCE! The home crowd thought it was in! Buckley is again the provider from the right and it's a deep cross that Conway leaps to meet brilliantly with Almunia in no man's land. All the winger has to do is get it on target but he nods wide.

YELLOW! Brighton full-back Bruno Saltor is the first name in the book as he goes in late and with studs-up on McGugan. Hill allowed play to go on after the challenge but came back to book the Spaniard.

YELLOW! The Brighton fans go wild as Forestieri slides in on Kuszczak and takes out the keeper. He's instantly booked by Hill but in all honesty he was just trying to block the clearance and Kuszczak was caught by the Italian's trailing leg.

The temperature is certainly rising on the pitch. Those two yellows have riled both sets of fans. The quality of footy has suffered as both sides look to take control of the affair.

Buckley's run down the right wins a corner that Conway swings into the middle. Ward is the nearest to it but he's outmuscled by a maroon shirt.

The Hornets break quickly as Faraoni holds it up well before finding Deeney. The number nine is given plenty of room 25 yards out so has a hit and it's powefully heading for goal until Upson makes a brave block.

Barnes is flagged offside from a ball over the top but he still clatters into Almunia when he thought the ball was there to be won. Both men are up quickly and OK.

Murray finds himself in a similar position to where he scored the goal so goes for it again. This time he's looking to chip the keeper but puts it too close to Kuszczak, who holds on.

A big groan from the home fans as Buckley, who has been excellent for Brighton so far, picks out Barnes in the centre. The frontman looks to flick it off first time to the onrushing Andrews but gives it away.

OFF THE LINE! It's Buckley again who creates the initial danger before Conway, from the other wing, dinks to the back post. Buckley's there to swipe it across goal and you're expecting Barnes to tap it in but it's hacked clear by Ekstrand.

YELLOW! Ekstrand prevents Barnes streaking upfield by taking him out from behind to earn the third yellow of the half. Three minutes of added time have been indicated by the fourth official.

It's Watford who lead then thanks to Sean Murray's early deflected strike. Brighton have responded well and looked very much like scoring.

STATS! Both sides have had five shots and surprisingly it's Watford who have had more on target. Despite this, Brighton have definitely had the better chances and should be level. The hosts have had more of the ball with 56% possession.

KICKOFF! We're back underway in the second half.

WAS IT OVER THE LINE?! Watford think they've opened up a 2-0 lead as Forestieri instantly latches onto Faraoni's through ball and slides it past Kuszczak. Greer gets back to stop it but can't prevent the momentum of the ball and it appears to roll over the line before he stops it. Referee Hill looks to his assistant and it's not given. Forestieri is in shock and the majority of TV replays suggest that the ball was over. However, the one from above the goal didn't show clear daylight between the ball and the line. Without goal-line technology that's a tough decision, but with the naked eye it looked like a clear goal.

Forgot to mention that the ball stayed alive after Greer had got to it and Kuszczak made a good low save from a Faraoni shot.

GOAL! BRIGHTON 1-1 WATFORD (CROFTS)

That non-goal must hurt even more now as Brighton equalise in scruffy circumstances. Conway sent over a corner from the right that ricocheted around before Crofts took charge and volleyed home.

McGugan is a set-piece specialist and he's just come within a yard or so of finding the corner.

LUCKY BOY! Bruno is so, so fortunate here. He slides in on Pudil and it's just outside the area so he escapes conceding a penalty by an inch or two. As well as that, he's already been booked and probably should have got a second yellow.

SAVE! From the resulting set piece McGugan whips it with power over the wall. It's just a bit too central though and Kuszczak is able to tip it over.

I mentioned before how the fact that the ball looked clearly over on some replays but didn't on others. The tweet I embedded a few posts ago shows how it looks well over but Barnsley FC have joined the debate by making a 'Vine' to illustrate why it might not have been. Click here to see it.

Buckley makes a fine run from the right and he's almost found by Forster-Caskey who just overhit the ball over the top.

BRIGHTON SUB: Garcia is the first to blink in making a change by bringing on Lita for his Seagulls debut, taking the place of Conway.

Into the final quarter of an hour we go and the game is nicely poised for an absorbing finish. It's really hard to pick a winner with Brighton as the home side but Watford with so much talent when they counter-attack.

Deeney almost ingeniously creates a chance for himself with a flick over the defender but Kuszczak is quick out of his goal to hoof it clear.

WATFORD SUB: Zola brings on Diego Fabbrini for Joel Ekstrand. That's a striker for a centre-back. Clear that Zola wants three points tonight.

Buckley has been Albion's best player and he's just tested Almunia with a low curler that the Spaniard held comfortably.

Tonight's attendance at the Amex is an impressive 27,657 that includes 1,256 travelling Watford fans.

OFF THE POST! Oh so close for the visitors! Faraoni hesitates twice down the right to earn space for the cross before clipping to the back post where Forestieri heads back across goal. It looks like it's going to nestle in the far corner but agonisingly bounces back off the inside of the post.

GOOD SAVE! It's end-to-end stuff as we go into the final five minutes! Lita breaks down the right and crosses for Buckley who instead of shooting lays it off for Barnes. His shot on the volley is well-hit but doesn't beat a flying Almunia.

So much going on at the moment! Watford break from the resulting corner through Forestieri and Fabrrini down the right. The latter beats his man in the area with a 'flip-flap' before cutting back for the former. Bruno comes in to make a challenge but doesn't make contact and Forestieri dives awfully. Referee Hill isn't foxed but allows the cheating. Should have been a booking.

Just as FOUR minutes are added on at the end, the camera pans to a youngster asleep in the crowd. Come on lad, you're missing a great game!

Late corner for the Hornets. Can they nick it?

Forestieri dances his way into the area with some nifty footwork before clipping it into the middle where Angella can't quite direct it on target. That should be that.

One apiece it finishes then. Watford will feel particularly hard done by after the non-goal controversy. They also came ever so close when Forestieri hit the post.
