Leroy Lita joins Brighton & Hove Albion on loan from Swansea City

Brighton & Hove Albion sign Swansea City striker Leroy Lita on loan until January 1, 2014.

Brighton & Hove Albion have signed Swansea City striker Leroy Lita on loan until the New Year.

The 28-year-old moves to the South Coast in search of football as he can not work his way into Michael Laudrup's Swansea set-up.

Seagulls manager Oscar Garcia told the club website: "He is strong, fast, and direct, and he has shown he can score goals in the Championship. He offers us something different going forward."

Lita will be used to pulling on a blue-and-white shirt after spending the second half of last season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday, where he scored six goals in the league.
